Truck Cab Securing System

This securing system is used to quickly fix the truck cab after an accident. This step is absolutely necessary before starting the rescue work, because the four suspension points of the cab will tear off in case of an accident. This means the entire cabin moves backwards onto the substructure and offers the driver a survival space in the form a crumple zone. However, it only rests loosely on the substructure and can tip over or fall down at any time. 

This set contains all the important tools to clamp the cab of all truck models onto the body before working on the truck. This prevents uncontrolled tipping, protecting the driver and rescue forces.

Different securing variants are possible:

1. Attaching directly to the rims of the front axle
2. Wrapping around the front axle
3. Wrapping around the main frame

The set consists of the following products:

• Pressure ratchet with lashing strap and eye hook according to DIN EN 12195-2
• Lashing strap LC 2500 daN with eye hook, length 10 m
• 2 rim hooks
• 2 round slings WLL 1,000 kg - violet DIN EN 1492-2, length 3 m incl. protective tubes

The truck cab securing system is stowed in a practical carrying case for standard vehicle installation dimensions (no special holders required!). The case in hi-vis traffic yellow has a transparent lid so that the contents can be immediately identified on the staging tarp. In addition, the colour code (green) of the all-round labelling directly shows that it is a safety system.
