Description

The Octopus airbag safety system is used to secure undeployed airbags (in the steering wheel) easily, quickly and reliably during rescue operations. The strap system is pulled over the steering wheel and fixed in place by means of a self-locking lashing strap - in a matter of 5 seconds! This removes the danger for both the casualty and the rescuer. 

The extremely tear-resistant material is guaranteed to stop any uncontrolled deployment of airbag. Corresponding product tests have been carried out and certified by the TÜV. This requires only about 12 cm of space to absorb the entire energy released by the airbag, a reduction in the effective area of over 70%. 

The truck airbag securing system consists of one system and complements the two sizes for cars:

  • Green system for steering wheel diameters from 430 - 500 mm (common trucks and vans)

Color: green (43-50 cm)
Weight: 0.7 kg
