Antistatic Patient Protection Foil

Soft patient protection is extremely important to protect the trapped person from splinters and dust generated during the rescue work. Particularly when sawing windscreens, glass dust and extremely fine particles produced when cutting through vehicle pillars must not get into open wounds and respiratory tracts.

The optimal protection for this is a flexible foil, which should be simultaneously transparent and antistatic in order to affect the casualty as little as possible. This way, the film does not stick to the casualty and the rescuer, and both have enough light and can see what is happening around them. With an overall size of 1.5 × 2.0, this casualty protection film is large enough to protect the injured persons plus the interior rescuer underneath. Due to its relatively low weight, it does not rest heavily on the person and thus only restricts movement to a small extent.

The foil itself is a stable 0.1 mm thick special material from the pharmaceutical industry that is particularly resistant to germs and particles and has no holes. However, for hygienic reasons, the film should be replaced after each use and is therefore a disposable product.
