rescueDAYS Original 2023

After the rescueDAYS 2022 in Paderborn, the largest training event in technical assistance will take place this year from September 21 to 24 at Bostalsee. During the four days of the event, about 700 participants from all over the world will be trained by our international team of instructors.

At the 2-day main seminar, the rescueDAYS ORIGINAL on Thursday and Friday (21. and 22. September) or on Saturday and Sunday (23. and 24. September), the participants will get a complete overview of the current state of the art and practical rescue techniques in car rescue. They will train together with participants from other nations in theory and practice, thus also benefiting from the wealth of experience of others and getting to know methods and procedures from other countries.

Practice (1st day approx. 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and 2nd day approx. 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
In the ensuing practical session, conducted in small mixed groups under the guidance of 2 trainers, training will be provided directly on the equipment and at 7 different stations. Here, the participants are not only taught about how to work the very latest rescue appliances and systems but they are also shown a vast array of different rescue techniques that, taken together, all lead to the goal. Before each practical class there will be a short theoretical introduction into tactics and techniques. It is possible to take part in an English-language group (please indicate your preference for this when your enrol!). The following stations are set up with realistically misshapen vehicles and with current pre-production vehicles:

• Car under trailer (US-American procedure)
• Car cross-ramming / Patient in focus (rescue cylinder use and handling of the patient)
• Car on motorway crash barrier (severely misshapen, protection)
• Modern vehicle technology (theory and working with hydraulic rescue equipment on a zero series).
• Lifting, securing and stabilizing (handling heavy loads in various situations)
• Chain rescue (advantages and disadvantages of this alternative rescue technique)
• NEW! Rear-end collision (possibilities for rescuing trapped persons on the rear seat bench)

Important event information:
The seminar price includes participation in the 2-day RESCUE DAYS Original, corresponding working documents from the theory (download), catering during the event and a certificate (afterwards). With the purchase of a ticket here in the store the participation place is only reserved! Only after complete payment and sending of the official ticket (by e-mail to the given address) the participation place is bindingly confirmed and booked. If the amount is not paid within 14 days after the order, we reserve the right to cancel the order and make the participation place available to all customers again.

When purchasing the tickets, it is not yet important for us which exact participant will come to the rescueDAYS. Only 2-3 weeks before the event we ask for the exact participant data with an online check-in. This way it is also possible to order tickets for the whole community/fire brigade by "collective booking".

If the event is canceled by our side, or due to the daily conditions and/or legal regulations is not possible, of course the full amount will be refunded.
