The technical assistance glove for the cold season! The new WEBER RESCUE EXTRICATION 2091W Thermo is the winter version of our glove specially optimised for accident rescue and technical assistance with a very high protective effect for fire brigade use. An additional fleece lining in the glove ensures warm hands and insulation against penetrating cold. But the touch sensitivity is only minimally restricted (compared to the 2090W).
- Special cut-resistant fabric made of polyethylene fibres, nylon and glass fibre over the entire glove surface
- Extremely comfortable and good touch sensitivity (Level 5 according to EN 420:2003)
- Nitrile coating on the palm for perfect grip, even on wet and greasy surfaces
- Fleece lining for warm hands and insulation against penetrating cold from outside
- Full-surface impact protection on the outer hand made of rubber to protect against injuries (knuckle protection)
- Neon yellow signal colour on the back of the hand for optimum visibility in poor weather and light conditions
- Breathable fabric, gloves are easy to put on and take off even with wet hands
- Long and cut-resistant knitted cuff for wrist protection
- Developed in collaboration with protective glove experts HexArmor from the USA
Meets the required standard EN 388:2016 for gloves for protection against mechanical risks: 4X43EP
Abrasion resistance: 4 (of 4)
Cut resistance (Coupe test): X (not used)
Tear resistance: 4 (of 4)
Puncture resistance 3 (out of 4)
Cut resistance (TDM test): E (of F)
Impact protection: P (impact protection test passed)
Tested according to the new 2016 edition of the standard, the glove no longer has a performance index for the Coupe test (second code letter), as testing must be carried out according to the new TDM method (first code letter). The achieved performance class E represents the second highest cut protection class and is considered the "highest cut protection". This is easily equivalent to a Coupe Test rating of 5!
This means that the gloves also easily meet the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) required performance values 3233X (or 3X33B or 3233B). However, they do not provide protection against thermal, chemical, bacteriological and electrostatic hazards. This means that suitable infection protection gloves must always be worn in combination with these gloves when coming into contact with bodily fluids. Not suitable for use when working with rotating objects or applications involving serrated blades and tools. The glove is cut-resistant, but not cut-proof. The exact washing instructions for optimal care of the technical assistance gloves can be found on the sewn-in label (machine wash at 30°C, do not bleach, do not iron, can be tumble dried at low temperatures).
