Resuscitation Mask on Key Ring - Black

During cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the course of first aid, ventilation between chest compressions is also important. But many aid workers are averse to performing proper mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-nose resuscitation due to hygiene concerns. That’s where this practical resuscitation shield comes in handy: it protects against direct casualty contact, helping to save lives hygienically.

The mask has an integrated and sturdy plastic mouthpiece that is inserted into the casualty's mouth. Thanks to the integrated check valve, the air can only flow in the direction of the casualty. The 20 × 20 cm large transparent film lies over the face and thus protects against contact with blood or saliva. The resuscitation mask is supplied in sterile packaging in a bag which is opened by means of a touch tab fastener and can be carried on a key ring thanks to the integrated D-ring.

How to use:

1. Make emergency call
2. Clear airways, tilt head backwards
3. Insert the mouthpiece into the mouth of the casualty, spread the resuscitation mask over the face.
4. Close the casualty's nose and start breathing through the mouthpiece, the chest must expand, repeat 2x
5. Perform 30x cardiac massage, 2x rescue breaths, repeat until the victim starts breathing again.

This product is a disposable mask that must be disposed of after opening and/or use! The mask is not suitable for infants and small children. For very young children special measures are required.
