As a supplement to the commonly used protective covers, sharp edges can also be quickly and easily covered with Packexe's Sharpswrap edge protection film during accident rescue. The strong and self-adhesive film in signal yellow is applied directly to the danger area (2-3 layers) and torn off by hand. The film protects the rescuers and casualties from sharp edges, protruding tips and splinters.
The Sharpswrap set is available in two versions, each with 4 rolls of edge protection film:
- 4 rolls with 100 mm width and 30 m length + 1 hand dispenser
- 4 rolls with 200 mm width and 15 m length
The film sticks to glass, metal and plastic and can even be applied to wet and greasy surfaces by, for example, wrapping a pillar so that Sharpswrap sticks to itself. This means that, for example, separated or torn-off vehicle pillars can be wrapped, window frames can be taped after glass management or torn vehicle components can be covered.
