LOAD-PAD Load Support Bag

The patented LOAD-PAD load support bag is a flexible load distribution element for the rescue ram and spreader during accident rescue. Compared to the rigid sill-support or armature base plates, the bag can adapt to the contour underneath and thus offers the best possible support surface. This makes it the ideal addition to any rescue kit!

The bag is made of reinforced fire hose filled with grit. This enables a high force transmission and load capacity of up to 200 kN, with simultaneous mouldability due to the movable grit. This principle is known, for example, from photography (bean bag) for stabilising the camera.

A specially attached steel base plate serves as a support for the rescue ram or spreader. On the back, the bag is protected from sharp edges by a tear-resistant protective pad. This makes it possible to distribute the load even in the smallest of spaces, e.g. in the footwell.
