Glass Cutter GLAS-EX TURBO
Glass Cutter GLAS-EX TURBO
for laminated glass panes during accident rescue
Part-No. 1095126
- Tool for quick removal of laminated safety glass (up to 10 mm thickness)
- Fits on any cordless screwdriver (10 mm triangular shank)
- Very manoeuvrable for cutting tight curves
- Most of the glass is conveyed to the outside (away from the casualty)
- Due to the short blade and the short stroke, cuts directly above the dashboard are also possible
The GLAS-EX TURBO is a very effective new tool for glass management. Powered by a commercially available cordless screwdriver, it cuts laminated glass panes at top speed during accident rescue. Thanks to the stable triangular shank and the specially shaped slide rail, it can be moved through the pane even in the tightest curves.
In the process, almost all glass splinters are conveyed to the outside (away from the casualty) by the precisely manufactured blade with no gap to the running surface. The blade can be driven directly into the pane without additional tools to create an application point. The application is much easier, faster and more effective than with the conventional glass saw.
The advantages of the glass cutter are clear:
- Significantly faster removal of panes than with a glass saw or a sheet metal ripper
- Very manoeuvrable and flexible to use (360° rotatable at the shank)
- Cut the complete vehicle width without reaching around or climbing onto the bonnet
- Glass splinters are conveyed to the outside
- Blade always stays in the cut even if the GLAS-EX Turbo is not perfectly in place
- Due to the small stroke, it is also possible to cut directly above the dashboard (impossible with the saw).
- Wear-resistant design thanks to hardened blade (but easily replaceable with replacement blade set)
Dimensions: 220 × 80 × 40 millimetres
Weight: 0.9 kilograms
Cutting performance: Laminated glass up to 10 mm thick
Shank/shaft: 10 mm triangle (compatible with any cordless screwdriver)
Color: black (anodised)
Scope of supply: GLAS-EX TURBO glass cutter (cordless screwdriver not included)
